Loved Fine Balance – intend to re-read it this year.
Loved Lord of the Flies as well, although Catcher In The Rye trumps that for young-adult, for me.

I debated between Catcher in the Rye and Lord of the Flies. It’s a pretty even tie as far as I’m concerned. Also considered The Arrival, a graphic story by Shaun Tan that I just love. I got so invested in making this decision that I put Lord of the Flies on my Kindle and am re-reading it!
I’ve had several “winners” for each category – and would love to read Fine Balance again.
